"Shelter, Near Death Experience" This is the most comprehensive interview about the Shelter van crash. Porcell talks with Gus Pena about what happened and how everyone is doing.

TERRORIZER issue #47 – October 1997
Ray talks about three different near death experiences. He's promoting Shelter's Beyond Planet Earth and talks a little about Better Than a Thousand. He also gives his favorite albums he's ever done.

FREE SPIRIT issue #1
Porcell talks about spirituality and how he got involved in Krishna consciousness. He also talks about the song topics on Mantra and gives some insight to them.

ALL THAT issue #7 – November/December 1995
"Word Em Up" This is an interview with Ray. They gave him 8 different topics and he gave his views on them.

WAR ON ILLUSION issue #3
"Anarchy and Mohawks" A diary entry from the Shelter tour written by Porcell. It tells the story of kids boycotting the show simply because Shelter are a Hare Krishna band.

WAR ON ILLUSION issue #2 – November 6, 1994
"City Gardens, China and the Existence of God" This is a short entry Porcell wrote while on a Shelter tour. It talks about a confrontation between him and another kid who was at the show.

EQUAL VISION issue #1
"Confessions of an EX-Vegan" by Bhakta Porcell This is the semi-famous article that Porcell wrote while he was doing the Equal Vision fanzine. He talks about how he went from vegan to vegetarian and his reasons behind it.

ENQUIRER issue #3 @1990
This is an early interview done with Ray when he was living at Gita Nagari. It's pretty short and he explains why he is doing Shelter.

IN DEFENSE OF REALITY by Ray Cappo
A great book about a search for spiritual life. It contains conversations that Ray Cappo had along with Satyaraj das. Satyaraj das is an accomplished writer and an initiated devotee. They cover many topics from Krsna consciousness to Straightedge to Vegetarianism, etc. I've only included the introduction and chapter 1. You'll have to buy the book to read the rest.
