"Both Worlds 'Memory Rendered Visible' (Roadrunner Records) "Metal-inspired fusion of hard rock riffs, Krishna consciousness and a good flow to the vocal delivery marks this album which features ex-Cro Mag John Joseph on vocals. "Cornered" and "Hate Mantra" are awesome songs, yet the other tracks don't quite carry the adrenaline those songs evoke. Again, metal and experimentation are the key words here." Impact Press

BIOGRAPHYServing as lead singer for the classic New York hardcore outfit the Cro-Mags and roadie for the legendary Bad Brains, Both Worlds vocalist John Joseph has quite an impressive resumé to his credit. Before the 1998 release of their debut full-length 'Memory Rendered Visible', the band released an EP in 1996 entitled 'Beyond Zero Gravity' (on the Another Planet label). Opening slots on cross-country tours for big bands like the Misfits, Helmet, and Life of Agony soon followed, helping the group to grow tighter musically and improve their stage show. After being signed to Roadrunner, Both Worlds hooked up with respected producer Michael Barbiero (Soundgarden, CIV, etc.), who handled the studio chores for their debutalbum. Quite different from the full-on musical approach of John Joseph's other band the Cro-Mags, Both Worlds combine their hardcore roots with melodicism and more conventional singing, with lyricsdirectly inspired by the Hare Krishna philosophy.
