BIOGRAPHY

Mihara started playing our music late November 2004, founded from the streets of Golden City Subd., City of Santa Rosa, Laguna, the Philippines.

They’ve known each other since the late 90’s at first they enjoyed hanging out with the crew then suddenly decided to unify as a band, and started as a five-piece band who play covers and later decided to create their own material.

After playing two or three gigs the former vocalist Mikel left us due to his busy schedules and some personal problems then the four of them still push themselves to continue the struggles – Beda took the place of Mikel, and now we stick with the new line-up:

xBEDAx – VOCALS
BOOGIE – GUITARS
xJAYx – BASS
xRHOBLINx – DRUMS

Mihara is a four piece band that love to play music just for fun. They have played their music around Lagun but think they don’t have the talent to impress people – they love what we they and are happy with what they’ve had.

Where did they get the band name?

There is no hidden meaning about the band name, at first they were having a hard time picking a name, then suddenly Boogie suggested that they should try to use the word Mihara as their band name and the four of them agree, from then we use the name Mihara.

We didn’t notice that the word "HARA" is part of the Transcendental sound vibration

"Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare,
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare"

Hara is the form of addressing the energy of the Lord, and the words Krsna and Rama
are forms of addressing the Lord Himself. Both Krsna and Rama mean "the supreme pleasure", and Hara is the Supreme pleasure energy of the Lord, changed to Hare in the vocative. The supreme pleasure energy of the Lord helps us to reach the Lord.

The three of them are engaged in the process of Bhakti Yoga or devotional service,
